Gas heat pump is a unit which allows producing heat and cold simultaneously. Its technical construction is a combination of gas combustion engine, compressor, heat exchanger and control system in one functional module. The working principle of gas heat pump is the same as of usual heat pump. The difference between them lies in replacement of electric engine for compressor drive by gas combustion engine, extra heat of which we can use the same way as in CHP unit.
